Children in Need 2017

We would like to thank all of our families for their kind donations for Children in Need. It was lovely to see our children attending nursery in bright or spotty clothes, to support this special charity.

Macmillan Coffee Morning and Afternoon

Every year we hold a coffee morning and afternoon in memory of our past Head Teacher ,Barbara Wilkin. All proceeds are donated to Macmillan. We would like to thank everyone for their support in raising £139.65 for a very worthy charity which is close to our heart.

Nursery Garden Party

On the afternoon of Thursday 20th July we held our annual Garden Party/Summer Fayre. Even though the heavens opened, everyone still enjoyed taking part in the different activities on offer.

Leavers Celebration

Thank you to all of our parents who attended our Leavers Celebration on the morning of Thursday 20th July. We will really miss all of the children who are leaving to go to school in September, and feel very privileged to have shared lots of special times together.

Sponsored Walk

Thank you to all of our families who attended our sponsored walk through the Dene, raising funds for our nursery. It really was a fantastic turn out and we had great fun talking about the things we could see, playing echo underneath the viaduct and splashing in the puddles on the beach!

Farm Visit

We have had a fantastic time visiting Tweddle Farm this week. The children have learnt lots of new things and have seen a range of different animals. We even got to feed a few!

Fathers Day Celebrations

Thank you to all the special men who attended nursery on Friday 16th June, with their children, to celebrate fathers day. A great time was had by all and the ‘bacon butties’ and cakes were delicious!

Mothers Day Afternoon Tea

On Friday 24th March we will be celebrating Mothers Day in Nursery. All Mams, Nanas, Grandmas, Aunties and other special ladies are invited to come for Afternoon Tea, prepared by the children and staff.

Morning parents are welcome to join us from 11am and afternoon parents from 2.45pm.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Valentines Day Messages

Safer Internet Day

On Tuesday 7th February we joined many other schools in promoting the safe use of digital technology for children. The children enjoyed listening to the story ‘PenguinPig’, a book which is very child friendly and begins to introduce the concept of being safe online.
