Children of different ages, including those of nursery age, enjoy using technology. Often they will go online to play games, watch videos or use the internet to find out more about their world.
It is very important that we understand our children’s internet use and ensure that we keep them safe while they are online.
We will be handing out a leaflet that supports safe internet use for children under 5 years old. Please ensure that you pick up a copy or speak to your child’s key person if you do not receive one.

Well done to our children who all sang beautifully at our sing along. You well an truly entertained us! A special well done goes to our youngest two year old children.

Thank you to all of our parents and families who attended our Christmas craft session, it really was a fantastic turn out!

During December all of our children visited the Gala Theatre in Durham to watch ‘Once Upon a Christmas’. The children had a fantastic time watching two of Santa’s elves getting everything ready for Christmas.

This week we have been talking about Remembrance Sunday, learning about why we commemorate the service men and woman who fought for our country. One of our teachers brought in black and white photographs showing the special uniforms that the soldiers wore. We looked at medals that belonged to a relative and even had the chance to try them on!
Thank you to all of the parents and families who attended nursery to meet with their child’s key person. It was really lovely to be able to share information about your child, both at home and at school. If you were unable to attend, please speak to your child’s key person as we can arrange alternative meetings.
